My boyfriend told me that women don't stop hurting while having sex until they've been doing it for a bout 20 years. I'm still a virgin, and he's been married before, so I'm not sure if he just heard that from somewhere (possibly his x-wife) or what. I have no idea, and I would just like to know whether or not to dread the next 20 years after I get married.

Sorry to say but this is nonsense. I have no idea where your boyfriend got this but it is not true. Sexual experience should be pleasing and enjoyable and not painful. The first two times may be painful due to hymen rupture but otherwise there should be no pain or any other discomfort.
Some women don’t enjoy sex and do experience pain without a specific cause but it is not time limited. You never can tell when and if the pain would go away if it is idiopathic- occurring without known cause.
You shouldn’t fear having sex, it is really great once you get accustomed to it. You need to make sure that your partner is healthy and clear of STD’s and always watch not to get pregnant. Don’t rely on men to be careful. Enjoy!
