I usually masturbate but have had bouts of not masturbating. Here is my experience with masturbating vs not masturbating:
When I don't masturbate, I personally experience:
1- A much higher desire to go out clubbing, and actually get girls
2- More energy, more aggression, more intelligence, faster thinking, all signs of more testosterone and muscle/brain activity
3- I guess the feeling is, I just feel more alive
4- I gain muscle a little faster, and am much better in contact sports such as wrestling, football, etc
5- I get more cut. I start to look more like Rambo, whereas when I beat my meat I have a less defined look
When I do masturbate, I experience:
1- Overall, the opposite of above
2- I do get a temporary good feeling, but it's more of a pleasure than it is an actual happiness vs unhappiness type of thing. I don't really feel any happier, I just get an orgasm type pleasure feeling which goes away and leaves me feeling a little empty. But of course I do it anyway, it's a habit a compulsion to do it
3- A feeling of release of a compulsion of habit. So it is a stress reducer and its hard to quit it unless you have an exciting life going on at the moment that is happy and relatively stress free
All in all, I'd equate masturbation to what people go through with smoking. Overall it does hurt you and the good feeling is only temporary, but it's hard to quit anyway because of the compulsive/addictive nature of the pleasurable feeling associated with it

Conclusion: Masturbating can reduce your athleticism, stamina, performance, skills that you've practiced. People can be so much different. These who are pro-masturbation clearly have no any problems with masturbation. However, then there is people like me. I am not religious, but i am 100% sure that masturbation is causing me problems.
When i began to masturbate as teenager, it felt great, but pretty soon i began to feel more and more tired, drained, low mood, unenergetic. Had this problem all my teenage, but i didn't understand it. Then as adult 20yo -> i got more serious problems, depression, physical problems, panic attacks. I began slowly form awareness about this problem, connected it finally into masturbation. Now as +30yo, i know, that i am fine, if i do it 1 time a week, or sometimes even 2, but more is bad. Old problems comes back if i continue to ejaculate daily or more which used to be my habbit.
Abstaining at least 3 days and i feel then things are lot better, i have energy to exercise, mind is sharper, body feels better, more self-confidence. And someone talked about skills, i have noticed same, the more masturbation the less good i success in any skill, mentality, technique, physicality needing things. Braindfog, physical weakness and so on, doesn't do good if wanting to success in something.
I am pretty sure it is something about testosterone. My beard grows slower if i masturbate often, and i lose some hair, and i get acne, bad acne, even as adult. And i have had always problem that i couldn't build muscle, no matter what i have eaten and how much exercised.
