Hi, as I’ve gotten older and older (I’m 42 now) the more belly fat accumulated around my waist and since I really don’t have time to go to the gym or follow some strict dieting program because I have to take care for my family of 5 all by myself, I was researching for some simpler ways to lose at least some belly fat and it seems that the plant garcinia cambogia could help me.

What I need to know is does the pure garcinia cambogia has any benefits over the cheaper one I can get from Amazon, and if any of you ladies here have been taking garcinia cambogia - did you get the results you wanted?

Hello Bell,

I was taking garcinia cambogia extract (I assume that's the same as pure garcinia) for 3 months, but I had to stop since it started to mess up my period - it was completely gone while I was taking the extract. But, on the bright side, I did lose about 10 lbs even though I really wasn't watching what I eat.

If you can also try lowering your portions and avoiding too fatty foods or too many carbs, I think that garcinia will help you lose weight - hopefully your belly will look better too,

Cheers, Meg

Hi Bell,

like Meg said, garcinia cambogia alone probably will not be enough for you to get satisfying results, but it will help you lose few pounds. I'm sure that you're quite active while taking care of your family, but even simple activities like walking at a faster pace will help you to burn more fat.

Also, one surprising drink can help target precisely the belly fat and that drink is green tea - you can make it in the morning and sip it through the day. That, together with lower calorie intake and garcinia should help you lose belly fat more effectively.

Hi,

thank you for replying! From what I've read on Amazon description page it seems like the garcinia cambogia extract is the same thing as pure garcinia, like Meg said. What kind of period problems did the garcinia cause you? I think I'm already entering perimenopause and my periods are starting to get out of whack already, so it would be good to know what to expect.

I'm hoping that garcinia cambogia will work mostly because I'm very limited when it comes to exercise due to my arthritis - when I have flare-up I can barely walk, let alone exercise.

Can you take Pure Garcinia Cambogia if you are on Tamoxifen? I am taking Tamoxifen since I had breast cancer several years ago. Is Pure Garcinia Cambogia safe for people taking Tamoxifen?
