My son has had two episodes of epididymitis within the last 6 months. He is 19 years old and was born with only one kidney. Could this have any relevance to the reason he is experiencing this? Treatment for this has been Zithromax. In both instances, it has resolved the situation. Is there anything he should be doing in his daily life to prevent this from happening again?

Wish this question was answered. My son, 19 also, has pilysystic kidney disease ( one functions) and it's his 3rd time for this epididymitis.
