Hi there, I am a guy who is 24 years of age. I heard something about a disease where a person has a problem with excessive hair growth. Can you tell me what the name for this condition is? I would like to know what the options for that person are. Thank you in advance for everything you say to me. Sorry to waste your time.

Well, the name is hypertrichosis. Sometimes it is called "Werewolf syndrome". In most cases it is mild but it may also be severe. There are 19 known cases for this rare disease in the world. This is usually cosmetic problem and sometimes people use camouflage. Temporary removal can be done by waxing and permanent removal can be done by either electrolysis or laser destruction of hair follicles. That is all I know.
