Hello. Levaquin or levofloxacin is used to treat many infections. It is used against certain bacteria. Diarrhea is possible as side effect. Stomach cramps as well. I have been taking Lavaquin, which was prescribed by my dr. for a toe infection. Since I started taking Lavaquin, 11 days ago, I feel blooted, and uncomfortable. My pants are fitting tight, and I'm thinking about discontinuing it's use. I have just 3 pills left, and my dr. is on vacation. Is there anything else I can take (over the counter) to relieve these symptoms?
