When I started my period I used a tampon for the first time and there was skin or tissue blocking the tampon from coming out.
It went directly across and was attached on two side of the entrance. It didn't hurt and all I had to do was move it over to get my tampon out. For years it was like this and when I had sex for the first time one side ripped off. It dangled there until I later got pregnant and my doctor said it could be removed when I went into labor.
They removed it but I always wondered what it was and why I had it. Anybody experience the same thing or know what it was?

I had the same problem except I was freaking out about it and never used tampons since. (i know it soundx a little funny)I have been afraid of it and feel like if I tell my Dr I will start to cry so I just avoid it. And I know I should not.
