I have a white/pink thing just inside the opening of my vagina hole if can't see a hole in it what could it be? I don't think it's my cervix I do think my hole would be big enough even if that wasn't there as there is quite this flesh around the edge of my hole it doesn't sound like anything I've heard on the hymen?? I'm really sorry if u have answered my other questions but I cannot get onto them so please could u copy ur last answers and post them on here many thanks!

Hi guest, I would say what you describe is quite natural for your hymen, there are several different types of hymen, some have one single hole in the centre some have a thin piece of flesh going through the centre and some completely cover the opening with just small perforations in them and occasionally some have no openings at all. that white pink thing you see is your actual hymen, are you trying with the smallest tampon you can get to start with?

Yes, but the hymen if it is is covering up the whole of the way so I cannot insert a tampon and it is slightly painful it looks kinda round and blocks enterence so how am I supposed to insert a tampon?

by the way your other post reads you have a small opening in the centre what is natural and yes it will hurt the first few times and may even bleed a bit but it will get easier. Can you get your finger in there?

No basically there is something around the edge which you have told me that is my hymen but there is something just inside the opening of my vagina hole which blocks the use of tampons I can't even get my finger in cos there isn't any hole.

hi, if your menstrual flow leaves your body then there must be an opening there somewhere for it to come out, it wouldn't be your cervix because that's around a fingers depth up inside your vagina. If you would like to make yourself an account on here then I can send you some information sites to read on in a private message as its against terms and conditions to sort them on the forum.

I have looked at many pictures but this thing looks different could this white thing be my hymen? Although it's not attached to the pink fleshy stuff that is around the outside of my hole?

your hymen will be the thin pinkish white membrane at the edge of your vagina entrance.

What is It that isn't joint to that the thing that is just inside the hole like fleshy stuff, does the hymen hurt when first trying tampons, do I need to break it to wear a tampon?

yes it can hurt to break your hymen when you insert a tampon the first time but what I would suggest is you try to relax as it could be that your vagina muscles are contracting and that's what is making it hard and painful.
