18yrs ago i had severe endometriosis and after many attempts to put it in remission finally had a total abdominal hysterectomy. I have not been on HRT for at least 6 mths. I have been bleeding vaginally for the past 2wks when I urinate or defecate, otherwise I don't have any breakthrough bleeding through out the day. Last night I noticed that I am also having severe abdominal pain, swelling, bloating and severe low back pain. My bleeding had only been sporatic, but has now been every day all day during urination/defecation for the last 2 days. I went to the hospital because I know I should not be having any kind of vaginal bleeding especially since I have no uterus or cervix. After the hospital took a urinalysis, blood work, but NO culture or pap-smear said it was Bacterial Vaginosis. I have no vaginal itching, irritaion, watery discharge nor does the blood have a foul odor of any kind, yet the blood is bright red with lots of tissue present. My endometriosis was present in the cul-d-sac, bowel, muscles, bladder, but to my knowledge all of this tissue was removed or destroyed. Besides, I have not had any pain, nor bleeding vaginally for 18rys. I do not get yeast infections or vaginal infections. What could this be or can anyone give me any insight on this problem? HELP!! The emergency room did refer me to a GYN clinic for further evaluation on June 10, this is 4 days after my visit at the hospital. I was also prescribed Flagyl 500mgs. an antibiotic that is for the Bacterial Vaginosis. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!! :O(

I am in the same boat except the hospital told me that i'm just fine. They said in a round about way that they thought it was in my head. I don't have the bleeding right now but when I was off the HRT I was having problems too. My hysterectomy was for serve endo too. I wish I could tell you whats going on but I don"t know what the problem is either. I just wanted you to know your not alone.

That makes 3 of us...... I am calling my doctor today to schedule an appt. I had a hysterectomy 3yrs ago. All I have left is a cervix. I have had severe pain during intercourse, severe back pain and major headaches and now bleeding...bright red and with some clotting. Not heavy but more than spotting. I will let you know what i find out!!!!

I am having so many problems now even though I had a full hysterectomy after having an emergency c-section in 2006 due to endometriosis. I have severe lower left abdominal pain and lower back pain on a daily basis and now I am having urinary tract infections that include vaginal discharge, bleeding, and itching. This is just making my life so miserable and now I am seeing a psychiatrist for depression and anxiety. I'm not sure if it is due to scar tissue because I have had a total of five surgeries on my stomach since all this began. I had 3 laproscopic surgeries for endometriosis, an emergency c-section, and then a full hysterectomy in hope that it would all end after I finally had one child before having everything took out. I just don't know what else I could possibly do to get rid of this pain. It scares me sometimes because my father has cancer and had to have his kidney and ureter tube removed and now it seems like I am having some of the same symptoms. Can anyone give me some advice on what else I could possibly do because I am just sick of doctors and emergency rooms?
