Extreme lower abdominal pain after sex

I actually found out that I am pregnant. right after I wrote this. And my pain is so bad in the last week I only tried once bc I knew I would get sick right after. But this made me wonder if I was pregnant those other times and just miscarried or something. IM not sure but you should check

I been together with my boyfriend for about almost two years now. We normally have sex and I have never experienced such a pain like I did last night. Right after we had sex my lower stomach started hurting really bad I felt like I was going to faint. It hurted like really really bad cramps I thought I was going to die and my whole body started feeling weak. I felt really light headed and then I went deaf for a couple seconds like I was going to faint. After a few minutes my boyfriend gave me a stomach massage and it felt better but it still hurts a little today. I don't know what exactly it was but I think he went a little too deep.

This also happens to me whenever me and my HUBBY get alittle rough (like last night) just try to relax use a heating pad or take pain meds i dnt like to take meds so i just try to relaxing until the pain goes away dnt have sex until all pain has subsided bcuz if u do the pain will only get worse trust me i kno 1st hand and it hurts like hell ....

You should all go see your GYN! Anyway, I had the same problem as many of you. I've been with the same man for 8 years. About 3 years ago was the first time I had the intense lower abdominal pain after intercorse. It started immediately afterward. It was almost as bad as my c-section (6 years ago) pain when my meds would wear off. I also had the strong urge to urinate but when i tried it hurt and wouldnt come out. I went to my OBGYN and she did a pelvic exam and an ultrasound. They couldn't find anything wrong with me except that my intestines looked really full. So I went home and gave myself an enema and felt much better. I've had the post sex pain quite a few times since then, but not as bad. I have noticed that I can avoid it if I'm careful. If I'm about to start my period and my uterus is swollen or if im constipated it hurts when my boyfriend's penis goes in at a certain angle so that it directly hits my uterus. We just switch positions and avoid the bruising of my innards. I do think I have some other underlying issue with my lower abdomen though. Cancer runs rampant in my family. Also I've been having a lot of digestive issues lately. Direrrea, constipation, large bowel movements. My boyfriend blames it on my alcohol consumption but even when I'm not drinking I have issues. And all this talk about HPV on here is making me want to go get checked.

I had the same problem a few days ago wi my boyfriend, I felt fine straight after but after abominding minutes I started to get period type pawith hitch where really painfull, I told him about it and he was very worried I told him it was nothing, I hope I'm right

Not entirely true...I am here looking for answers because I had a hysterectomy removing my uterus four months ago. I never had this pain before the surgery but now I do. I am leaning toward the ovarian cyst but am definitely getting this checked out. Whatever is going on, no woman should have to deal with this kind of extreme pain. I honestly have to say that this pain is worse than 2 natural child births!

It happens to me alot as well. Ive thrown up, layed in the fetal position for almost an hour in extreme pain and its weird because during sex I feel fine...But I have paid close attention to when it happens and its generally right around my period. I spoke to my gyno about it and she said it is probably because around your period everything is inflamed, and sensitive. Plus, we usually like to do it from behind and that as well as me on top makes it to where he goes deeper into me causing him to hit my cervix. Since he is well endowed it happens easily. Just the combination of those things cause it . But if you notice the timing is close to your period just avoid deep penetration during this time . If your on top dont go down all the way , or let your partner know and keep him on top. But one of those girls was right about the whole feeling like contractions.. its irritates the cervix causing cramping and cramping is a womens body preparing you for real birth contractions . If we didnt get the practice before just imagine how shocking the already terrible pain would be.. sorry if I rattled on but I know how irritating this is and to get all the info you can get helps.

I had the same issue about 2 days ago, in my opinion it was from the position we were in (doggy styel) we immediately stopped, pain continued for about 10minutes, we tried missionary I was fine and it even made the pain go away

Did u find out why it happened

I had this pain about 4 months ago. First, my right leg had a piercing pain in the middle on the back of my thigh, it would happen occassianly then more and more as time went on, and of course, hurt more and more each time it came back.One day, I had to make my boyfriend stop during intercourse. I had the pain described. Couldn't move, felt like I was going to puke, etc.The next morning, the pain was still there but as I got up to go to the restroom, I found that I literally couldn't walk because the pain was so intense I could do nothing but keel over. Except even when I keeled over, it decreased my abdominal pain a bit, but my rectal region began hurting as well.If any woman that you know is having ANY of the symptoms, ESPECIALLY abdominal pain after sex, no matter how many partners you've had or times you've had, GO GET TESTED! It is very important that if these pains are being caused by Chlamydia like they were for me, that you not let it harm your body long term. Even if you just got tested yesterday and you've used condoms since then, anything can happen. Take care of your body, it is so very important!
