I'm considering running the Tom King 1/2 marathon on 3/15. This would
be my first 1/2.
Does anyone have a favorite training program they use.
I'm currently averaging 25 mpw. I have ran a couple of 10 milers.

I just use my own marathon program and cut things down to 1/2 size.

poky--- I'd suggest Pfitzinger or Jack Daniels (the man). I lean towards Daniels because there is no need to head to the track for 1/2 and marathons. They both have programs very easy to follow....their books are VERY technical...but if you "cut to the chase" and just figure out your vo2 max---you can layout you program based on that magical number week by week.
