I had sex for the first time two days ago with my boyfriend. We used a condom and I'm pretty sure it didn't break. We had sex ago a couple hours ago. Once again we used a condom and it didn't break. I am still scared to death that I might get pregnant. I am not on birth control. I understand there is always a chance. I also know that I shouldn't have sex If in not ready for a kid. Believe me I regret it. But there is nothing to do about it now. I just want to know realistically what are the odds of me getting pregnant if it was only twice and with a condom? Should i take plan b? Thank you so much

Hi Worried,

Did he wear the condom before and during any/all sexual contact both times?  If so, it is about 98% effective if worn properly.  He also needs to hold it when removing it.

Yes there is always a chance.  Plan B is an option but probably not necessary.  Ordinary, daily, birth control is 99% effective when used properly and may be a better option.  Plan B is a large dose of hormones and should not be used as a primary birth control, it really is for "emergencies."

Hope it helps.
