Hi,

I'm seventeen years old and still a virgin. After seeing lots of different information on the internet, I'm having quite a few worries about foreskin retraction. I've never retracted (limp or erect) and to be honest I don't really know what I need to get to: I don't want to force the skin back and when it's erect the skin moves back and forth quite easily but I don't really know if it's fully retracted???

I'm getting really nervous as I don't have a clue to what I need to do!

Thanks for reading (so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section of the forums...I wasn't sure where to post this..)

Retract your foreskin slowly until it starts to hurt, then stop. Does it go behind the head?

If it does not go behind the head, then you need to start stretching exercises.

You are normal for your age. Your foreskin is still developing. You can help it develop by stretching it.

When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction.

It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and let mitosis do its work.
