i was diagnosed with freibergs disease when i was 11. i had a prosthesis made to wear in my shoe and had to stop and sporting activities at school.it was extemely painful. The doctor did nothing else for me as he said i would grow out of it. I am now 24 and cant bend my second toe which wa the effected metatarsal.it bends by the middle joint only.i had an x ray done on monday because ive had enough of the pain.Due to the toe not bending , the rest of my toes on my left foot dont bend either and it really pulls on the tendons if i try to bend my toes. Does anyone else have this problem?
