I'm 17 and in a long term sexually active relationship. I'm on nacrez tablets (progestrogen only pills). I was on them originally for about 8 months or something and used to get pretty normal, light periods with occasional spotting. I then stopped taking them for about 5/6 months and then started up again. Since then I've been getting periods every other week that have been medium flow lasting about a week and a while back I went to the doctor who told me it was just my body getting used to the hormones again. All well and good but it's still doing it and I've been on them for another 4/5 months and now I've been on a period lasting 2 weeks with blood still bright red. Any suggestions?
