Look, as far as I know, if a person is not getting relief from the current treatments, he needs to have more tests to determine and find a better treatment.
How long have your suffered from the disease? Do you sometimes go into remissions?
Gerd symptoms usually come and go, and differ in intensity.
Has your doctor mention a surgery. Often, when a child doesn’t respond to the given treatment, a surgery may bee a good option. However, it is not known if surgery may be a permanent solution. Some report show that about 60% of people who had surgery had to take medications again.
But I guess this is something that your doctor and you need to figure out.
