Hi everyone,

I first noticed this strange lump on the side of my penis around December 2012. At first I thought it was an ingrown hair, which I have had before and managed to remove it myself, but this time I did the exact same and there didn't seem to be a hair follicle? I decide to leave it, and hope that it does away over a period of time. Over the first few months, I used to squeeze the lump, and some white puss would come out but over the last 2/3 months this seems to have stopped, and i'm now left with a hard lump that I'm mystified as to what it is?!I've been to my local hospital to the sexual health clinic, and they said it looks like a cyst. I asked how I can get rid of this, they said theres not a lot that can be done. Is this true, or is it just not serious enough for them to take any time over? 

Help and experience needed here, and it's really starting to knock my confidence (especially during oral sex, as i'm concentrating more on the girl not seeing/feeling the lump that relaxing and enjoying it!)
