I have been experiencing my heart beating in my left ear. It sounds like a pile driver a distance away. Sometimes it is accompanied with a feeling of pressure in my head. I was treated for ear infections but that didn't help. Thyroid tests came back fine. What could it be? I'm also very depressed, prone to anxiety, but have low blood pressure.

I have that same thing! It started about 10 years ago when I had severe allergies in Kauai from mold. I woke up one day and asked my husband who was using a jack hammer in the neighborhood? It was a low motor sound. Eventually it got worse and got to be a loud roaring and my ears would never pop and felt full all the time.. I went to two ENT's and was diagnosed with Tinnutus. Nothing can be done to heal it. It got so bad I want to another ENT in a different state and he found a crustation on my left ear drum. It was causing it to be stationary and unable to move with sound. He removed it and instantly the fullness went away and I could hear so much better!! I still have a slight roaring/motor sound in my ear but it's way better now.
