weird lump in my throat

i have had this strange lump in my throat for the last 4 months. It started one morning when i woke up and it felt like i swallowed something. It started really small and it felt like it went away for a little bit. Not it has spread to the top of my throat, to the back of my tongue and i reached my hand down my throat to see what it was and it had a pus odor to it. the pus odor has gone away now and it feels worse....I went to an ER and they just sent me home and told me it was nothing...I also have chronic headaches, my anxiety has been a million times worse. my voice has slightly changed, sometimes my lymphnodes will swell up and release a gross taste in my mouth. I was wondering if anyone can help me because it has been worrying me for a while now.
