Hello, I am 23 years old and I would like to learn something more about hemangioma. Actually, only one thing interests me – can it be removed? It's on my back, not very large, but I am aware of it and I have it since my birth. Doctors were always saying that it will pass in time, but it never went away. So, what can I do?

Hemangiomas are very tricky type of benign tumor of blood vessels. It might cause some complications, especially if it is on the face (if near the eye, it might end with vision problems). It might spread into several smaller ulcers too. There are some possibilities when it comes to therapy, hormonal treatment would be one of those, although I have to say that there is no definite cure for this condition.
