My husband, age 72 has paralyzed diaphragm with a clasped right lung. He is doing COPD exercises at the hospital to strenghen his chest muscle. When he exercise on a type of row boat machine, his blood pressure goes to 220/95. The aids take his off the machine. At home, we are finding his face will get real red and when we check the blood pressure it is running around 169/80. We want to know if it is normal for the blood pressure run high when you have Paralyze Diaphragm with dead Phrenic Nerve.
