Couldn't find what you looking for?

I am 36 years old and I am in my second month of pregnancy. I would like to know something more about the chorionic villus sampling test. How accurate are the results, should I take the test at all or wait for the amniocentesis? I have to admit that I am afraid because of my age. I just hope that everything will be ok

Well, your pregnancy could be considered as a more risky one, but that is not the cause for you to be disturbed. I mean, if the screen results are ok and you there is no history of the genetic diseases in the family, then there is no reason for you to be afraid that something might go wrong. You should do the test, but just to clear all the doubts.
