Hey everyone,
I'm Danny and I'm pretty much a rank amateur when it comes to this running business. The dilemma I have on my hands is this:
I need to be able to run 2 miles in 13 minutes by February in order to qualify for a ROTC scholarship. I ran last night and established a base time of an exceedingly pathetic 17:10. I'm an 18-year old guy, about 5 ft. 10 in. and 155 lbs. How can I (or is it even possible to) shave off 250 seconds in two months to do this thing?
Any advice at all would be great. As of now I intend to run Mon, Wed, Fri and Sunday for 2 miles each.
Thanks for the advice,
-Danny
