Hi. I suffer from narcolepsy. I take Adderall but I can`t say there is some improvement in my condition. I still have sudden attack of deep sleep. More, my blood pressure is high and I have even lost my appetite. How do I know if the drug is working?

Hi. The drug is working all right. Adderall is an appetite suppressant. I take Adderall to treat ADHD. It is a stimulant. Adderall stimulates nerves and brain. This is why your blood pressure has increased. I may switch on some other ADHD med. Adderall makes me feel dizzy. Maybe I should try Concerta or Ritallin?
