how does a person loose her virginity other than sex

Well the defenition of losing your virginity is actually having sex, so i dont think its possible to lose your virginity without doing it, but you can break your hymen, which normally happens when you have sex, you can break it by inserting something big in your vagina, or sometimes when youre very athletic and do so many sports that it just breaks

if u play a sport does that make u not a vigin any more?
