I'm 32 and relatively healthy. On Monday-I went to the doctor with severe pain and was told I had internal hemorrhoids. I was given prescriptions and told to relax and take sitz baths. By Thursday I went back as I was still in a ton of pain. She said it looked slightly better and pain was normal and it takes time. But sent me to specialist/surgeon to just verify. He did a scope and said thrombosed internal hemorrhoids and fissure? He said he doesn't think surgery will be needed and to keep doing what I'm doing. He said excoriating pain is normal-like I feel like crying when I move or walk! I know as a specialist he would have told me if something needed to be done, but I'm just tired of pain! It's been 4 days on the prescriptions-please tell me I'll feel relief soon!
