When training for a 10k, how many speed workouts a week do you do? I typically do one a week at the track.

once a week, i alternate between doing 400s & tempo runs.

In my opinion 10km races require a fair amount of miles to build aerobic capacity to compete well!

How many kilometers would you put in per week?

I use sportlyzer to calculate my trainings. Sometimes it seems a bit too conservative, but as I learnt from my half marathon everything was fine. I enjoyed the race very much and 1:43 was ok. Could have done 1:40, but I held myself back and started raising speed too late.
