Hi. I am hearing voices in my head, all the time. It has begun 2 months ago, after a head injury. They are mostly negative, telling me to do bad stuff. I am not listening to them. I hear 2 different voices, but never at the same time. How normal is this?

Hi. It is not really normal to constantly hear voices in your head. This is a form of psychosis. Also, hearing voices in your head can be a sign of schizophrenia. Your head injury could be the cause of your problem. Anyway, psychotic episodes of that kind are caused by unusual brain chemistry, stress. Maybe you have a genetic predisposition to psychosis? Treatment of psychosis includes meds.

I would suggest that you see a psychologist as soon as possible. It is normal to talk to yourself a little bit, but this sounds like something more.
