I am 37 years old and I have been taking Norcos for 3 years I have a degenerative spine disease and I'm just now seeing a spine specialist the 12th of next month I hope to God my liver is not trashed. I think I will now ask my doctor to definitely do some tests. This story has brought light to my situation.

Hi Pod, I'm sorry to hear about your condition. I had to put my two cents in on it though..
I've been on Norco for over 14 years, broken back twice and many other issues.
My two cents is this, that I personally will only take medications that have been around for more than 30 years or more. The reason is simple, there's ample time to evaluate the percentage of people with bad results. Yes I know norco etc can be habit forming, the majority of those other meds your on are basically new. No one will know how they truly effect people for another 10 years plus. Also if you were on all of them at once, that is a problem in itself. I don't care what a doctor says, putting someone on 6 to 10 medications at once is not good for your body in general.
I truly wish you the best of luck and will pray for you..

You can not live without a liver. My husband died of chrissos of the liver due to taking to many hydros. He was taking up to 30 or 40 a day. He was a bad dietetic also but he got help in detox but it was to late. He was 52 when he died. I beg of anyone not to get addicted to pain pills,it’s the Tylenol what will kill you eventually and his death was terrible. He was taking over millions of milagrams a week. It is so sad cause we was married for 33 yrs and 2 kids one grandson and another one on the way when he died. We also lost everything due to this sickness. It affects the whole family. God bless everyone.
