I am 25 years old and have been on hte pill for about a year and a half. I have never been late and always start on the same day on my pill pack. Last month I didn't start and had a brown clot like discharge that lasted about 4-5 days and then nothing. I had pregnancy symptoms and took a test that came back negative. However, my sister (who has four children) said that it might be wrong because I drank alot of water before I took the test and the HCG level would probably not show up and the best time to take a test in first thing in the morning. This morning however, I have the brown clotting again and while I am not supposed to start for another 6 days I am wondering if my period is trying to start. I am very concerned because my mom had cervical cancer. Please help me understand.
