Hello Everyone. I'm 31 year old female. I have some concerns that I hope someone can give me some insight and advice about. In 2008 I had twin boys born at 26 weeks via c-section. One week after the c-section I developed an abscess just around where my incision was. I was back in the hospital for one week to deal with the infection and the abscess did burst out of that incision. For the past couple years I keep getting these severe cramps in my low abdomen/pelvic area. Over the past few months these "cramps" have been coming almost every day. They hit me like a ton of bricks, dropping me to my knees. The pain is so intense that I feel like I'm trying to grasp for air. The pain tends to radiate down into my vagina. This whole episode generally lasts for about an hour each time. Once it does go away I'm still really crampy and uncomfortable. I have also noticed pain during sex and also low grade fevers and some nausea.  I went to my doctor who did a pap and came back normal. She prescribed me Vicodin to help with the pain, even though I'm not a pill person. So I've been only taking a half at a time and using a heating pad. I did a pelvic ultrasound to check for endometreosis etc. and everything came back "normal" supposedly. My doc had asked me about if it was on a certain side. At the time I said no, but then I got to realizing that it is a little more on the left (closer to middle). I was referred to a gyn who told me I was imagining the pain and was a drug seeker. I will never go back to that arrogant jack ass again. When I went back to my doctor, she was still concerned and I'm finally scheduled for a pelvic ct scan tomorrow. I currently use the Implanon birth control (under arm) and I do not get my period. Which is wonderful as I have always had issues with my periods. Some have told me that maybe that is where the cramping is coming from however these episodes started way before I even started this method of birth control. If anyone has any advice, suggestions or have experienced this I would appreciate anything you have to offer me.
