On July 31st I had my son via C-section, I also had a tubal done at the same time as he was my third child in 3 yrs. Now 6 months later I'm still really numb from the navel down to the incision at the hairline. When I mentioned this at the hospital before they released me they said it would only last a few weeks and it was because the outer incision was vertical but the one under the skin was horizontal and when doing a horizontal cut they are cutting into nerves, I'm concerned tho that it has been six months and still totally numb there, I mean numb to the point that you stick me with a pin and I wouldn't know it if I wasn't looking.
Anyone else have this same numbness and how long it last for?

I am still completely numb after my c-section on August 1st. I was told it would take a long while (like years...) but that every one's healing time is different.

I had my daughter 10/2009 booth my hands were numb after C- section. I told my doctor , I was told it was fluid. Oh well here we are 2 years later the feeling came back in my left hand but my right hand gets numb at least 5 times a week . I have talked to my doctor ,and they don't know what to say . However I think it's from the epidural. I think I may also have carpal tunnel.
