If your period comes on 1 to 3 days after you have unprotected sex then you are not pregnant. It takes that long for the egg to come to that sperm. That's why the "Plan B' pill is in-taking in 72 hours prior to unprotected sex so the egg can drop with the sperm. Brownish/pinkish spotting is def a sign of pregnancy. If you really want want to know with out pregnancy test figure out if you had sex after or before your last period. If you had sex after then your safe only by 14 days before your next period. If you have sex before your last period try to figure out if it was 12-14 day before it started.

I know what you mean. Im kind of in the same boat as you. I had unprotected sex (dumb idea i know ) about 3 weeks ago and I was suppose to start my period on feb 6 but instead had (Im assuming it was my period ) it on feb 3. Usually my period last at the minimum 5 days but I only bled for 3 days and then just stopped. My friend said it could be because I used to be on birth control and my body is just getting back on normal cycle but Ive been off it for a couple months now and last months period was 5 days long like its suppose to be. I read somewhere that sometimes you get whats like your period early but its the embryo burrowing itself or something like that but i had some clots like usual so I have no idea. I havent had any of the usual symptoms like tiredness, morning sickness, or sore breasts or anything. The only thing Ive had wrong lately is having to go #2 and my period being early this month and not as long as it usually is. Should I still take a test? and if so when should i take one?

I had unprotected sex on Wednesday and started bleeding 5 days later(Monday) I noticed some light pinkish red blood after wiping from using the bathroom, 4 hrs later it started to become more heavy n is starting to look more like a regular period. Is that even normal? I know that Implantation bleeding isn't suppose to be heavy, right? I'm still bleeding and today is the 2nd day. Hi about 2 weeks ago my ex and I had sex. I know he is very fertile and the next day I got my period except it was a week early and was brownish. I am on the pill but have not been taking it as rigiourously as I should. I'm afraid I am having pregnancy symptoms cramps, nausea and my breasts have grown and are tender. I've had the same problem. Over the last few weeks I've been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend, although he's been able to withdraw before cumming and the last time we had sex was March 2nd, and today March 4th I awoke to early bleeding. My period isn't due till the 19th. Neither one of us have any STDs. I read that there might be a possibility that I'd be pregnant. I'm a bit frantic considering the fact that I'm still in school. I don't know if he might have just severed the walls lightly or if my period came early due to irregularities. My period doesnt normally come early, although once in a while it does come late. My period is usually every 28 days. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex 11 days after my last period, and then used an emergency contraceptive within the 24 hour time line when emergency contraceptives are most likely to work (95% likely to work). my period isn't suppose to start for another 12 days, and i went to the bathroom today only to wipe away quite a bit of blood after using the bathroom. i grabbed a pad thinking my period was just really early. but i am not concerned because i haven't bled anymore. There is also something called "induced menstruation". Semen can actually trigger a females period, even off schedule. This is frequent in new relationships/new partners. Scientific reasons are actually quite interesting, going back essentially to biological motives to eliminate pregnancies from previous partners (which is why this occurs frequently when new partners start sleeping together. I had sex with my boyfriend [unprotected] on Saturday and he's certain he didn't ejaculate inside me, however, I got my period on Monday 23-04-2012 when normally I should be due around the 30th/1st. I haven't had a light pinkish/brownish spotting, my period has been normal, just a bit more painful. This is allll sooooo confusing! I think I may just wait til the bleeding stops so I can do a pregnancy test but having some sort of advice/knowledge into the matter would help a lot!
