hi i have been getting a very sharp shooting pain in mostly my left testicle but has been also present in my right testicle to the point where i am crippled with it i am unable to walk or do just about anything it comes on randomly with no warning iv been to my doctor about this already who referred me to the gum clinic (fully clear as expected) and for an ultra sound scan, nothing they could find on that although they only checked my testicles nothing else multiple urine samples and blood tests all came back clear. the urologist didn't feel he needed to see me but if i had any concerns to call for an appointment which i did 3 times (good old NHS never sent me out an appointment) finally got an appointment and was told there is nothing he could do he didn't want to look any further into it but thinks its a cyst forming on one of the tubes not sure what there called but nothing came up on the scan so he couldn't be sure that's what it was i was told to go back to the doctors and get pain killers i explained to the doctor i wasn't happy with this but was told there was nothing else they could do so was put on codeine phosphate never helped and then put on tramadol which has helped alot but still problem not solved its affecting everything from being able to do my job to my sex life as if i get touched cought in the wrong way even a very mild knock there it can start the pain going and usally if i ejaculate it starts immediatly or not long after im 29 years old and need help getting this sorted but just dont know who to turn to now, the pain killers that I am now on are not solving the problem.

I went to the doctor with a similar pain in my left testicle.  My doctor determined that the problem was actually my sciatic nerve.  She recommended a set of stretches that have helped tremendously.  you can probably research instructions on how to do the stretch.  I refrain from trying to describe it for fear of doing so inaccurately.

I've had this for years maybe 10 now. In my case it is the epididymisand some relief can be acheived after a long course of antibiotics. I'm not a fan of eating tablets all my life so stopped after the first three courses. Tablets are no cure and now just the occasional throb every week or two is manageable.
