I first had a constant pain in my left testicle as well as sudden sharp shooting pains in my anus. I went to a urologist and he checked my prostate and found that it was "boggy". He said he thought I had Prostititus and put me on Levaquin and after taking 2 two week treatments, the pain improved 90%. I now only have testicle pain during or after sexual activity and sharp pains in my rectum after eating foods that cause gas.

I know that I have been diagnosed, but I question if this is definitely what I have. I would like the pains to go away all together. If you have any information I would really like to hear it.

Hello,
You have been diagnosed correctly. Try inserting an ice cube into your anus and let it melt, doing this twice a day aleves the pain. As for the testicle pain get a bag of ice and let your scrotum sit in the bag for about 3 minutes. Good luck!

Don't stick the ice up your ass. That's crazy.

I've had shooting pains in my left testicle for over 1 year and a half. This all happened after hip replacement. I've had vericocele surgery and that did nothing. I've had steroid injections, needling and nothing has helped. Sitting down makes it worse. it goes away when I take Nsaids but comes back after that medicine has worn off. Any suggestions?
