I have had bleeding inbetween periods now for six months. Some days its heavier that others and the longest I've ever not bleed for is a day or two. At first i thought it was my pill but ive stopped using it for 3 months now. Ive also been tested for STIs and the tests have been negative. I've been to the doctors a couple of times but they just say its normal. Im only 17 and I'm really worried that theres something seriously wrong with me, I dont think its normal to be loosing so much blood. Help me please.

If your doctor says its normal its not. Our body was not meant to have constant bleeding. You should get a second opinion. You should see aN OBGYN. This happened to me twice at two different stages of my life. i went from doctor to doctor until i went to a GYNECOLOGIST and after a couple of tries, he solved my problem. The first time it happened to me was when i was 22. This first time my period would not stop (45 days non top) so i stopped taking the pills. The OBGYN gave me new birth control pills which i had to take twice a day for 2 weeks, then 1 a day on the third week. By the second week my bleeding stopped and i finished the pack with the placebos. The placebos gave me back my period and i started new pack and my period got back to normal. Well that was that, the second time it happened when i was 26. This time i was taking the birth control pills and when it was time for my period to stop (about the 5th day) it didnt. I had a period for for 3 weeks and decided to go back to my OBGYN. This time he told me to stop taking them. With that being said, I did as i was told. i couldnt believe it. my period stopped by the 4th day.

So you see, it could be either one or may be something else. "saggibabe" i do really recommend you go to an OBGYN. They will help you more than a regular family doctor.
