I am 37 weeks and 3 days along. Last night I lost part of my mucus plug and I'm guessing it was only part because there was no blood or anything it was only clear, and all day today I have had loose stools, and many of them. Normally I only go once maybe twice a day. But today I have gone numerous times. My mom said that's normal, but I still am very concerned. This is my second pregnancy, but I never had any of this with my son because I was induced with him. Is this normal to have this many loose stools in a day? Is there anything I should be doing to harden them up a little?

Loose stools and frequent trips to the loo are normal towards the end of pregnancy. It's when the baby moves and is getting ready to be born, so the pressure on the bowel changes.
