My 2 1/2 year old son had a little bit of a temperature and then the following night had a very stinky (rotten egg stinky) loose yellow stool. He has been having these stools this way for 3 days now. During all of this he has not been behaving any differently. Has anyone else experienced this? I have no idea what it could be.

It could be some kind of viral infection. Are there any other symptoms?
I have read that normal color of toddlers stool is brown, green and yellow and that this depends on the food he/she is been eating. So maybe stool and fever are not connected in this case.
Since it has been a while from your last visit did you find out what was causing these symptoms at your child? And how did you treat them? Were you able to find some answers online or you had to visit your doctor at the end and get the right diagnosis?
