I have my tubes clamped for almost 5 years I've had my period twice in one month and now the blood is brown could I be pregnant

Hi Brandi,

There is a chance.  The tubes can reattach after a period of time but usually there is scarring and it leads to an ectopic pregnancy.  You'd likely have lower back pain and cramping as the pregnancy progresses.

Take a home test using your first morning urine.

Brown blood is older blood.  The two periods in a month, being different than what you normally have, are reason enough to test.

If it continues you might consider seeing your gynecologist.  It could indicate a cyst or other issue.

Good luck.

It's a possibility. Take the home test using your first morning urine to see IF you are pregnant.

If these cramps are severe, or are NEW symptoms, see your doctor ASAP.
