I've been on the same pill for five years (yasmin) and have never had any spotting between periods. I sometimes forget to take a pill but that has never caused me to spot. Recently I got my wisdom teeth out and missed one pill. I started rather heavy spotting today, in the middle of my cycle. I have no idea why - I've never had spotting between periods ever, and befoe when I'd missed pills I'd never had spotting. What's happening???
