I started my period but its kinda watery and has mucus, should I be worried about an infection or being pregnant?

it's not uncommon at all that your period looks different at the start of the cycle, when compared to any other point - it can be brownish to completely brown at the end, and with regular red blood in the middle. This doesn't have to do anything with either pregnancy or infections, even though you can always take a home pregnancy test and make 100% sure you're not pregnant.
It's just that our bodies work differently at different times, and that doesn't have to be a sign of any disease or pregnancy,
