Just curious, I was having sex with my girlfriend (not my first time, but hers) and the condom broke. However, as soon as it broke, I was able to quickly withdraw it and apply a new one. She got off of her period about three days prior, so I don't think she should be in her fertile stage yet. How much should I worry?

Thanks!

Hi Guest,

"How much should I worry?"  A little.

With any sexual contact there is ALWAYS the chance of pregnancy.

Assuming a 4-6 day period, you had sex around days 7-9.  Sperm can survive for about 5 days however.  Normally, she'll ovulate between days 11 and 16.  So, there is a chance as her fertility is rapidly increasing.

It all depends upon when she ovulates and if any sperm was present.

Hope it helps.
