Hello, I was just going to bed and I was a deep amount of pain when I got in bed. I wondered what it was and I realized that I had a peanut sized hard and painful lump near my prepuce and clitora. I just found out about it today and was very worried. I am not sexually active at all and keep up on my hygiene pretty good. I am a little worried and don't know what it is.

Hey all,
There is no reason to avoid going to a doctor when you are concerned about your health. Your job is to look out for #1 (yourself) so you stay in good shape to live a happy full life with those you care about. You know your family situations better than anyone, and none of us can really tell you what to do. But I highly recommend you prioritize and care for yourself - both physically and emotionally too. If that means NOT letting yourself remain totally freaked out, then care about yourself enough to find information that will empower you. If you cannot go to family doctor or you don't have gynecologist (in my experience they are very nice, BTW. They know showing your coochy can be weird - but they're there to help) then I recommend checking into Planned Parenthood. Yes they offer birth control and other reproductive-related care and information, but they mostly do basic health care for women and men. They take some insurance email I think, but also have a sliding scale to pay just what you can afford.
There is no need to be freaked out and lacking info. Knowledge is power. Go get you some! Hope you all start feeling better.

Ha ha - typo. Meant to say "They take some insurance I think." There is lots of info, about health and lots of topics, on the Planned Parenthood website.

I agree that there is no reason to be afraid of going to the doctor. But for anyone one overly . I have had a small pea-sized lump inside my outer right labia since I first noticed it in middle school. It has NOT grown in size and is mobile and painless. My family is poor and without a vehicle right and I know there is probably a good handful of you out there who are in the same situation as me. If you absolutely are unable to go to the doctor keep an eye out for any abnormalities in your bodies. Dont be afraid to ask your parents, specifically any women in your life like mothers and aunts. I can almost guarantee that they also worried as kids and can help to ease your worries.

I have the same problem! I was masturbating and felt this lump. I rubbed it and it felt really... Well, I can't describe it. It is not visible and its underneath my clitoris on the left. I rubbed it again after a while, and now it doesn't feel like that feeling I had earlier. It's now feels like its burning (barely though). I'm a bit worried, but I can't tell my dad!

I have had this before and dealing with it again. I’ve seen a doctor about to and they have told me it is a blocked duct or gland and it should go away on it own. The first time around I waited several months and seem to only get bigger. Eventually it started to fill like it was filled with fluid. So I decided to use a small needle to poke it and low and behold Small blood and clear fluid would come out after squeezing lightly. II had to do this several different times giving some time to heal in between after the poking but after that eventually it went away. If I didn’t do that I’m sure I would have had the Lump still.

I’m literally 13 and I have this. Instantly took to the Internet, I’m DEFINATELY not sexually active but thought this was the best way to get answers. I’ve researched and what keeps on on coming up that it’s probably a cyst so I’m not gonna lie, hoping it’s that because here’s me freaking out thinking I’ve got some kind of vagina cancer or something

Yes your suspicion of a cyst is true and it also could be a infected gland. The lump does it have a pimple like head?
