Hello, I'm 25 and am recently married to my husband Scott on 10-10-10. My husband and I are wanting to start a family but I have very abnormal periods. I have noticed last year that I had not had a menstrual cycle from February to September 2010. I wasn't concerned because I have always had adnormal cycles and to go months at a times without isn't that unusal, and my doctor said it wasn't anything to worry about. In October, I noticed that my cycle was normal, the flow was slightly heavy but not bad, and it lasted almost a week. Then I didn't have a cycle in November or December. For the New Year, my husband and I decided it was time to try for a child. We began to have sex more regularly. I had my cycle in January and it was EXTREMELY heavy, and it lasted nearly two weeks! I called my GYN and she told me that due to my losing some weight recently it may have caused my body some adjustments. I said ok. But the following months the same cycles continue and it was still extremely and nearly two weeks long. I called my doctor again and she told me to make an appointment, but her office doesn't yet have any opening, so I'm on the waiting list to be seen, in case someone cancels, and I'm not the only one on the waiting list.

That being said, I noticed last month in May that I started my normal cycle, and it wasn't so heavy, which I was pleasantly surprised. BUT since then I've noticed that the bleed has not stopped. EVERYDAY and throughout the days I notice bloody discharge and clots in my urine and in my underwear. It's not always a lot, sometimes it's just a spot, but it is everyday! Somedays there is a lot of discharge. I've started to wear panty liners or pads everyday. There are also times with my stomach is upset and in knots and it can be painful. I called my doctor again and she was not able to speak to me but I told her nurse my problem and have yet to hear a response. I live in a small town and I'm scared that something is very wrong! If I choose to seek out another doctor I'd have to drive over an hour away and at times that is not an option for due to my job.

I have been diagnoised with HPV, and I get regular Pap Screens (which are always Irregular) and I get biopseys of my uterus and cervis every six months. And when I was a child, I had to have surgery to deal with a cervical polyp that was cancerous and had to undergo Kemo and Radiation.

Does anyone have any suggestions or does anyone possible know what could be causing my issues? My husband and I are scared, out of answers and options.

Well thanks Tayyab23. I had nearly forgotten that I had posted this! lol! But I have some new information regarding my situation. I have recently changed doctors and I have had a CT Scan and a Ultrasound. They also have put me on a birth control medication and a blood thinner to help stop or slow the bleeding. They have found a mass in my uterus and my uterus lining has become thickened. I go in for a biopsy of my mass and they uterus wall. The mass will need to be removed regardless, but there's a chance it could be cancerous. My doc said if it is cancerous "We'll go from there."
