I am 20 years old and since september of 2007 my periods have been very very irregular...no lie but since my fiance left for bootcamp is when it started...from august til the day i went down for his graduation (nov. 28th?) then i have it almost the whole month he was back...then january til end of june i didnt have it...then didnt have it til september again then not til dec and i just now got it...the first time in 2009. it started my birthday and ended today and it was brown/black. and i have very dull cramps usually every day...and when me and my fiance see each other there is a lot of sex involved and unprotected as well...im going to the doctor the 28th so hopefully i will find out for sure whats up...i cant take birth control because it makes me feel ABSOLUTELY horrible...im so done with this c**p.

I am anxious to hear the answers that you got. This is REALLY irregular. Did you get some medication to regulate your periods? If the pills make you sick, there are other BC options. Have you found one? Has the irregular bleeding stopped? Did the doctor have to prescribe a chemical to regulate your cycle? Perhaps you needed a different type of BC pill. They are all similar, but perhaps there is something that would not make you ill. Please let me know what you found out and how you are doing. I hope that things have settled down for you since your post was made.

Well Went to the dr...got my pap...but was sent to get an ultrasound...had to wait 12 DAYS to get results...no cysts like they thought it might be...pap was clean but abnormal (has been since i was 15!) so i had to wait for something in the mail (because i was referred out) which i just got today..so now i gotta call the specialist tomorrow or today rather to go and get a biopsy to check for hpv and precancerous cells. so yay go me... :^| wish me luck...strange thing is...my period is somewhat regular now...at least the past 3 months (it was about 9 days early this time)...my babymaker hates me. thank you so much for your concern! ill def. let you know whats going on. my best friend had cervical cancer and she said even if i do have the beginnings of it a LEEP would pretty much take care of it. fingers crossed!

Bravo to you for following up on your situation! I am so impressed. I know that you will continue with your appointments, etc. Your doctor sounds like he/she is on the ball too. Thanks for getting back to me. I am glad that your periods have regulated. Please let me know how the tests are going and what they doctors are doing to prevent any really serious problems for you in the future. I will look forward to your updates.
