Hey! Karen here. I am in my late 20s and I think I might be suffering from IBS. I have read about the symptoms and I am pretty sure I have most, if not all, of them. I also have a moderate case of "white coat syndrome". Going to the doctor is a real ordeal for me. As you may conclude, I haven't had colonoscopy, but I am guessing I should have it soon to confirm what's been ailing my stomach.

Now for the questions: What should I expect from a colonoscopy? Is it the only way I can confirm what my situation is? It would be awesome if I could find out w/o having to go to a doctor. :))

As for insurance, can you recommend a good insurance provider that covers colonoscopy? I might look for a new one. Also, do any of you have feedback on ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed ? If I understand correctly, they can cover colonoscopy?
