By "opening" do you mean the foreskin, if you are not circumcised, or do you mean the urethra, where the urine comes out?
If you are not circumcised the tissue could be irritated just from erections.
It's also possible that you need to clean under your foreskin, remove smegma.

We can rule out STD's if you haven't been sexually active.
Could it be from an irritant such as soap or lotions that you use?
Is it rubbing on clothing, causing a mechanical injury?
It is a fairly common issue and should resolve on its own.
