i have chronic back pain, 3 kidney stones , a split disc, muscular skeletal inflamation in my spine and they think i have arthritis. im only 17 years old. they put me on flexorol then darvacet and nothing works...i dont know what to do . i think there diagnosing me wron >:( g. why isnt the davacet working on me ..or anything for that matter? >:(

Darvocet is primarily a placebo. The difference between the effective dose and the lethal dose is the smallest of any of the semi-synthetic narcotics. Many studies show it is no more effective than over-the-counter medications, and it is generally so loaded with acetimenophen that you'd be better off just taking tylenol or tylenol and ibuprofen or aspirin.
Tell your doc it isn't working and that instead of trying to take more, you'd like a more effective medication.
