Yeah I agree. Both my grandparents, an uncle and great aunt have blood cancers. They grew up in a small village that experienced what guest is describing on your rural road (everyone coming down sick). Ours is from a cosmetic company that dumped chemicals into the water, along with the largest landfill (incineration usage) in the region on the outskirt of town. I strongly believe that they have contributed to why my family is sick but it wasn't until I learned about my great grandmother's hometown in Italy that put the pieces together. Taranto, Italy (population around 200 thousand) is the 3rd most polluted city in the world producing 92% of Italy's dioxin emissions- 8.8% of all Europe's dioxin combined.. as well as 42% of Italy's benzene production. Between 1994-2005 it saw an increase in blood cancers by 30-40%. They are contributing it to the dioxin which builds up over time and can last up to 11 years in the fatty tissue of those exposed. -Which in the case of pregnancy can be passed to the fetus.. taking the role of what looks like an inherited cancer. Not that I disagree with the idea that it can be genetic.. but yeah.
