Now, i don't recall ever having felt this before but the more i feel it, it seems to be more familiar. Please if you have any information as to if this is normally always there or not cuase i can not find anything on the web about this... I could really use the help.

Hi Jahhnl: You mentioned a cartlliage lump? Do you mean there is a lump that is hard about 2 cm up inside your vagina? Or there is actually a piece of cartliage at the opening of your vagina? Also are you a virgin?

If it is a hard lump - I would hazzard a guess it is a Bartholin Cyst, it is bascially a fluid filled pore inside the wall of your vagina. As long as it is not hot or painful it is no problem and can easily be treated by sitting a warm as possibly tolerated bath, with epsom salts, and let the warm water and salts draw out the fluid. IF it gets hot or infected and painful, you will need medical attention.

If it feels just like a piece of cartliade it is probably just that, our vaginas are muscles, so you will have parts of the vaginal wall that are more muscular. And even though most women have the same internal workmanship!! Some have slight differences.

If you are a virgin, it could be your hymen. But that is at the opening of you vagina at the bottom, not 2cm in. So I think it is probably either no 1 or 2. The cyst will feel like a bump - similar to a pimple without a head. Hopefully this answers your question if not, give me some more infor and I can help you out further. For some God foresaken reason I seem to know a LOT about Vaginas!!! XD :$ 8-| ;-)
